Day 7 - Spend quality time with your family

Today my message is simple. I want to encourage you to spend quality time with your family. Whether it’s with your spouse or kids, mom or dad, or brother or sister, let me encourage you to spend some quality time in person or over the phone with your family.

When you do, direct the conversation to God and what he is doing in your life right now. In Deuteronomy 6:5-7, the Bible says, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road.” Today our family went on a walk, enjoyed the beauty of the Wooded Isle, and talked about these things.

So whether you are sitting around the dinner table or going on a walk with loved ones, direct your hearts to God and what he is doing in your life. This is an important time for us to connect with others in meaningful ways.

3) Make the place your living a place you wantto be

4) Create, Bake, & Make

5) Enjoy eating

6) Phone, text, or video chat a friend

7) Spend quality time with family

8) Get outside & go for a walk

9) Treat someone else to something special

10) Dream – ask God to speak to you about the future
